Hello, I'm Joanne — the heart and hands behind Soft Skin Naturals.

Years ago, I was diagnosed with diabetes, and like many others, I struggled with persistently dry skin. I found myself constantly reaching for lotion, searching for relief. Frustrated by the chemical-laden options on the market, I wanted a natural solution that would cleanse and moisturize without compromising my health.

That's when I began crafting my own vegan, cold process soaps. What started as a personal endeavor quickly blossomed into a passion. Sharing samples with family and friends led to enthusiastic encouragement to offer these creations to a wider audience. To my delight, using my handmade soaps significantly reduced my reliance on lotion — sometimes for weeks at a time!

With over 30 years of experience in marketing within Corporate America, starting my own business had always been a dream. Soft Skin Naturals is the realization of that dream, allowing me to combine my professional expertise with a heartfelt mission to provide nourishing, natural skincare.

I reside in New England with my wonderful husband and our grown daughter. Our home is shared with two beloved cats, reflecting my lifelong affection for feline companions.
