Skin Shield Balm

Handcrafted in Leominster, MA, this vegan mineral balm contains non-nano zinc oxide, a mineral that sits on the surface of the skin rather than being absorbed. When applied, it forms a thin, physical layer that helps reflect and scatter UV rays away from the skin.

Because it remains on the surface, zinc oxide works immediately upon application and helps create a consistent barrier when spread evenly. This is different from many chemical-based products, which must absorb into the skin before becoming effective.
